The 5th Zhumeiyuan Literature and Art Award Ceremony

The 1st to 3rd winners of the "Zhumeiyuan Literary and Art Award 2019 National Oil Painting Creation Competition" accepted the award-winning works of the Kaohsiung Cultural Center Exhibition Hall yesterday (16th) afternoon. CEO Su Zhongyuan presented the trophy.

Mr. Zhang Kaiyang from Taoyuan City, with the painting "Guernica Sequel - War and Peace", uses the techniques of substitution and tenure, interleaves three-dimensional and two-dimensional, and integrates Cubism, classicism and surrealism. And it expresses war and peace in a consensual way. He said that as long as he works hard, he will be seen. This is the fourth first prize he has won in his painting career. Ms. Shao Wenfeng from Taichung City mainly described the scenery of the four seasons with the painting "Peach Blossoms in Ten Miles", and added her new poem creation, which made the painting and the poem speak to each other, and won the second prize of 200,000 yuan.

Mr. Lin Huan-chia from New Taipei City uses the painting "Black Water Ditch" to describe the surging black water ditch, sometimes as still as still water, sometimes as turbulent waves, as if describing the tortuous modern history of Taiwan. The award trophy of Lin Huanjia was represented by Mr. Lu Zhongyuan to receive the award at the scene.

The "Zhumeiyuan Literature and Art Award" has entered its fifth year, attracting the creative motivation and participation of more than a thousand artistic elites from all over the province. In addition to the high prize money for the first to third place, there are seven selected works with a prize of 80,000 yuan. The winning contestants are: Lin Zhaojun, Lin Jiayou, Chen Taihua, Lin Zhenhao, Huang Yuyun, Dai Liying, and Lin Huiling.

The 42 winning works of the Zhumeiyuan Literary and Art Award 2019 National Oil Painting Creation Competition will be exhibited at the Kaohsiung Cultural Center to the Second Hall from now until February 25.
