The Southern Taiwan Fine Arts Association of the Republic of China was co-founded in 1953 by the Japanese painter Liu Qixiang... and other senior painters. It is the oldest art association in Kaohsiung City. In 1997, it became a nationally registered art group. Every year, a national event is held, an artistic atmosphere is advocated, and no effort is spared in supporting the backward. This year's 68th Southern Exhibition was held nationwide from July 20th to July 24th, 2010, and was promoted on the website of the National Cultural Bureau. A total of 179 works participated in the competition. A total of 22 winning works were officially produced after the preliminary review, review and final review. From 10:30 a.m. to 18:30 p.m. on October 3, a picture selection activity for donated works was held at the Zhumeiyuan Art and Culture Space in Kaohsiung City. The first exhibition will be held at the same location from October 2nd to October 31st. From November 20th to December 1st, 2020, it will be exhibited at the Kaohsiung Cultural Center to Halls 1 and 2 together with members' works.
